|Bill Davies & Kevin Saunders would be delighted to welcome you to their beautiful Chateau set in the magnificent Perigord countryside. |
The professional kitchen is always entirely 'gluten free' all year round, with no danger of any cross contamination.
We concentrate on specials diets and have cooked thousands of special diet meals.
This is not an ordinary Hotel! There are never more than fourteen guests at any one time. This means that Bill and Kevin are able to give each guest all the attention they require. Our guests leave as friends and are treated as such during their stay. It's always a wonderful house party each week!
We can arrange airport and train station collection for you. When you arrive you will be warmly welcomed.
The atmosphere is, 'relaxed'. People are never regimented but always urged to make themselves at home. Breakfast is at a time to suit everyone, lunch when needed. Dinner at 8pm cannot come soon enough but that is because our guests soon realise the standard of cooking is first class !
Included in the price of your holiday is transport to local places of interest - such as, St Jean de Cole, one of 'the most beautiful villages in France', Brantôme, 'the Venice of the Perigord', the Chateau de Puyguilhem, the fantastic Villars cave complex and Perigueux, the capital of the Dordogne, with its magnificent old town. For the destinations that require a full days visit packed lunches will be provided. If others provide trips at all, it is charged as an expensive extra, remember, with us three outings are FREE!
Naturally if you choose to spend the day at the Chateau you can relax in the peace, tranquillity and beauty of the grounds. You can stroll in the gardens, walk around the village, laze by the pool or play a game of croquet on the lawn. Or sit on the terrace and enjoy a well chosen bottle of wine from or wine cellars!
Season 2010 runs from the middle of April to the end of October. You can check our weekly schedule and prices on our website.
|Chateau de Villars is located in Villars, in the département of Dordogne.
